I love that water bottle one!! how do you get just the color with the black and white?

I used Photoshop! In Photoshop, there are a few ways to get that look. For this particular picture, yellow was the most predominant color. I used the adjustment layer in Photoshop “Hue/Saturation” and just set the saturation of yellow to 0. In doing so, that left primarily the blues in the picture. There was also a little bit of orange and green in the picture, so I removed those colors too. That’s how I got the picture to look that way – just by removing select colors. Another way to do it is by using a selection tool (e.g. “quick select”) to make an isolated selection of part of a picture, and then adjusting the color of or around the selection to achieve the same or similar effect.

Glad you like the pictures. Oh yeah, Photoshop is really cool! Working in Photoshop is truly a way for me to relax...a nice cup of tea (or Raspberry white Mocha!) and a couple hundred pictures to fish through and edit is relaxing. It's a powerful program and it's fun!
